This project required the linking of three Health Canada Buildings (Laboratory Centre for Disease Control, Radiation Protection Building and Health Protection Building) for continuous monitoring and remote control. |
| Claremont Communications worked directly with Public Works and Government Services Canada Real Property Services Branch on all phases of implementing the Canadian Automated Building Protocol for these sites. | |

Sustainable Practices Our work on this project included design implementation review and vendor product certification. In addition, we handled specification review, training and writing. |
Ultimately the demonstration projects goal was to show that intercommunication of vendor devices can be accomplished utilizing CAB Protocol, thus reducing short and long term costs for equipment to building owners. Additionally, the CAB Protocol allows building owners to choose lower cost upgrades and move to higher efficiency products quicker. This in turn can lessen dependence on energy.
