PWGSC's Place Du Portage Phase III 8B1 PEC site features a system consisting of 3 main components:
1) User interface
2) Lighting controller
3) HVAC temperature/flow controller
Using low wattage dimmable lights controlled by sensors and end users allows for a significant saving of 50% over conventional lighting.
Pictured left, Sensors detect user presence while Air Nozzles are used to supply a stream of repositional air to the individual workstations. This allows the user to adjust the temperature of their own space, typically an 8X10 cubical.
